Flow Cytometry Core Facility (McGill U. / Life Sciences Complex)

Mots clés: Cytométrie de flux, tri cellulaire par cytofluorométrie.

Keywords: Flow cytometry, Fluorescence activated cell sorting (FACS).

Fluorescence Activated Cell Sorting (FACS) is used to examine cell cycle modifications, cell signaling processes including protein phosphorylation/dephosphorylation reactions or protein-protein interactions. The facility is well equipped with a BD FACScan, FACSCalibur, LSRII flow cytometry analyzers and a BD FACSAria sorter/analyzer (up to 9 diffferent fluorescent probes at once), and a FACS workstation for data analysis with FlowJo, FACSDiva, FCS Express and CellQuest Pro softwares.
