Description

The Clinical Proteomics Facilitty uses SELDI-TOF technology, a versatile proteomics research tool that combines retentate chromatography and time-of-flight mass spectrometry to facilitate the analysis of complex sample mixtures. It was designed for high-throughput proteomic profiling and biomarker discovery using very small sample volumes. A variety of ProteinChip Arrays are available each with a specific chromatographic surface. Proteins and peptides in a sample bind to the surface depending on their biochemical properties.
